　　1、【学校通知】：大学计划cut off教学楼旁边的parking area停车场。好处：1、学校可省出更多空间，并把这些空间绿化。2、可减少校内车辆的数量，学生骑自行车或走路去上课更加安全。

　　【学生态度】：女生赞成此。两个理由：理由1、大学可用省出来的空间种点花草，为同学们提供更多绿地。同学们可以在草坪上好好休闲、看书。理由2、关闭停车场可减少校内车辆、缓解校园内的traffic，并减少污染。学生在校内步行会更加方便。

　　2、文中说下学期开始，学生将不被允许在学生活动中心外面的墙上张贴海报，因为海报使建筑难看，海报可以贴在餐厅的海报栏里。女生不认同，她说如果不给贴，那个建筑就会变的很boring，就是光秃秃的水泥墙，海报使建筑看上去有艺术感，使它具有性格和个性，海报常常变化，也使得建筑不那么沉闷。关于海报贴在餐厅外，女孩说不是所有人都在餐厅吃饭，课后有的人吃点零食，有的在外面吃从家带来的饭，这样的话，他们就看不到贴在餐厅外的海报，可能会错过很多announcements.

　　3、reading部分：有封写给的信，建议add the kitchen in the student dormitory,理由：1、有足够的空间安置厨房设备;2、cooking skill is useful.

　　conversation部分：gg反对，理由：1、放厨房的空间原本可以用来watch tv,or taking social activities. 2、不认为cooking is a useful skill and 大部分学生很busy,而学习新的技巧，演习菜谱都会占用学习。

　　SPEAKING 4

　　1、信息超载：信息量超过了人们的能力来处理它。Information overload: amount of information exceeds people’s capacity to process it.

　　The professor gives two examples. First, when a company recruits, they might receive a lot of applications on the first day, but they don’t have time to go through every application, so they only look at some important information and ignore the rest. Second, sometimes when people receive too much information, like when they are recommended too many materials, they might just not look at anything at all.教授给出了2个例子。首先，当一个公司招聘，他们可能会收到很多应用的第一天，但他们也不会有时间去通过每一个应用程序，所以他们只看一些重要信息，忽略其他。其次，有时当人们得到过多的信息，比如，当他们被推荐太多的材料，他们可能只是不看任何东西。

　　2、主题是anticipated consequence，在做决定之前要先想可能性的后果。

　　教授讲到要给姐姐买礼物，但自己发现了好看的jacket。预算不够，如果买了jacket只能给姐姐买差一些的礼物了。但如果这样教授会很愧疚，为了避免这一点，教授最终没有买jacket，给姐姐买了很好的礼物。

　　3、术语是 Close communication bias，跟熟悉的人交流有障碍，人们可能给对熟悉的人的信息更少。例子是professor 发邮件约一个叫Jack的教授和一个新教授一起吃饭，结果给不熟悉的教授的地址是clear and detailed, 而Jack的那个的地址反而是错的，导致他去错了地方。

　　SPEAKING 5

　　1、男士的论文因为打印机坏了而没有打印The man’s problem is he didn't get a clear print of his paper due to the breakdown of the printing machine.

　　There are two possible solutions.

　　First, he could print another copy back at dorm because he saved this file in the computer, but he would miss to attend a discussion.

　　Second, he could ask for an extension, but he’s concerned that the professor would think he’s not serious about the paper.

　　2、即将放假，女生的室友第二天开车回家，但是女生有个论文还没写，她有两个选择，要不熬夜写，但是这样明天就太累了，或者索性留下明天再写，但这要就要自己坐大巴和火车回家，太没意思了。

　　3、【学生困难】The woman left her art history notes on the train and she has to take the exam thenext Friday

　　方案一：借笔记， 评价：女生从没借过笔记，怕对考试有不好影响

　　方案二：晚上去上课， 评价：晚上答应去同学的音乐会，会冲突.

　　SPEAKING 6

　　1、蚂蚁通过某些strategy来提高forage food效率。1.每次出发都方向不同，比如Amy Ant，第一次从north出发，下次换East 2.大家一起搬运而不是将食物切成小块分次搬运来节约蚂蚁力，比如一片水果，一起搬只要10个ants，分片搬要50个ants

　　2、Marketing广告既要有语言又要有图像来吸引顾客。举例：旅游公司推广seaside既要给出好看的图片(colorful and striking景色，beach and skies), 又要用文字描述哪里好。

　　3、plant 是怎么保护自己不被吃的 1) physical adaptation 例子是一种grass的叶子上有一些很sharp的东西, 用手摸就会cut your finger, 所以动物在chew 的时候会uncomfortable 以后就不吃了 1) appearance appearance 例子是一种植物，蝴蝶在上面lay eggs, 之后会吃了它。但是蝴蝶不会去那些看起来occupied 的叶子上lay egg, 所以他就自己伪装成上面有butterfly egg like appearance
