　　1.Evidence of English Proficiency for Non-Native Speakers of English

　　Applicants who are not native speakers of English are required to take the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or the International English Language Testing System (IELTS). A minimum TOEFL score of 550 points on the paper based test or 90 on the internet based exam is required. The minimum IELTS score is 6.5. You can register for the TOEFL online, and the Tufts University code is 3901. Please note: student copies or photocopies of TOEFL/IELTS scores are not accepted.

　　A college or university degree earned in the United States or in one of the countries listed above prior to submission of this application;

　　Current enrollment as a full-time student in a degree-granting program in the United States or at an English-speaking school in one of the countries listed above. The student must have successfully completed two consecutive full time academic years of college or university work prior to the date of anticipated enrollment at Tufts University.

　　如果考生属于以上三个条件，就可以不用提供托福成绩。一是，属于说英语国家的国籍;二是，在美国大学取得学历的学生;三是，属于说英语国家全日制的学生。

　　L同学：申请电气工程专业;GPA分数3;托福成绩90分;GRE312分。因此建议考生想成功申请塔夫茨大学研究生，就要满足其硬性条件，托福分数保证在90分以上，GRE 310分左右。
